Went to Bangkok to meet Ume-chan

“Mariko, long time no see. You look fine. Are you in Chiang Mai? How long will you stay ghere??”

Friend of mine, Ume-chan sent me a message.
She will come to Thailand with boy friend, Yobusuke to travel for 1 week.
I thought I can meet them in Bangkok.

I waited her message, but she sent me message that they got accident by motor bike in Chan island!!（＞＿＜）

She gave me a message from a hospital, she got scratches on her leg, Yobusuke cut his arm, have to sew…oh..

So she said we can’t meet this time..

But we kept in touch after that, then we could meet in Bangkok before they go back to Japan.
I asked to Joe to go to Bangkok by car, we left Khao yai at 10am, then got to their hotel in Bangkok at 1pm.

It was last time I met her in Kyoto, now I met her in Bangkok again but they had bandage on their arm and leg..（＞＿＜）

I felt sorry about that….but they said they went to weekend market in this morning!?!?

I knew they wanted to go there but I thought we will bring them by car.
They said they wanna go the weekend market again.
OK~,, they are fine now.

We ate chicken noodle for lunch near their hotel.

Yobusuke hadn’t eaten Thai food so much so far, just they ate McDonald or something western food, he said it’s very yummy.
Joe suggested famous noodle restaurant near there, so we moved there next.

Best of Noodle? Haha.

They had many small bowls in front, there were many Thai local people.
We couldn’t come here without Joe.

This is the famous noodles, very small.
Thai people liked soy sauce soup, we Japanese liked sour soup.

It was small bowl, so customer eat many bowl usually, a bowl is about 50yen.

Yobusuke liked such a local experience, he took photo with restaurant staff in front of the restaurant.

Then we went back to hotel then went to weekend market by car.

Week end market.
Yobusuke likes Redbull T-shirt, he bought many design of Redbull T-shirts!
I surprised that.

They bought flip flop, I bought it too.
We can choose our own favorite color of string and sole.

To think about it, I came to weekend market just twice, I didn’t know here so much though, I found coconuts chips, very yummy snack!
I should have buy that.

Weekend market was so large, I want to go there again.

Moogata for dinner, near their hotel.
It was first time I came to Moogata in Bangkok!

Buffet style, Thai BBQ, Moogata.

Yobusuke can’t speak English but tried to talk to Joe with some word.
I translated it, I wish it’s good chance to learn English for him.

We enjoyed Moogata, then they went back to Japan.

I met Ume-chan 6 years ago in Bangkok, then met her in Chiang Mai, Tokyo and Kyoto.
When I travel around, I meet many many people though, I still remember the first time I met her.
I was happy to meet her.

Ume-chan, let’s meet again at somewhere in the world!
