Taichung to Chiayi

I wanted to buy face washing powder that I bought in Taipei, so Xiao Yeh took me some shops.

Found! But it was 30NT expensive than Taipei!!
But I don’t know when I can get these next time, so I bought these.
I wanna make soap by these! 😀

I put these into box, then went to post office.

I send the box to Japan!
It was 490NT for about 4kg.

After post office I walked to sight seeing.

I took rest sometimes, then they took me to train station by car.

Train ticket from Taichung to Chiayi for 144NT(about 5USD)

The train is a little bit wider than Japanese one.
I wrote blog on the train.

I arrived at 6pm at Chiayi station.
Stephy, couch host came to train station to pick me up by scooter.

Stephy brought to me to chicken rice shop.
I bought the rice and miso soup.
She said it’s famous in Chiayi,

Chicken rice and miso soup for 45NT(about 1.60USD)

The taste was different than I expected.
Miso soup was sweeter than Japanese one.

By the way, Stephy went to Japan these days.
I found this one at this house.

Jaga pokkuru.
She said it’s famous snack for Taiwanese tourist.
I never seen it in Japan.
It’s limited snack just in Hokkaido.
But people can buy it at airport.

If I go to Taiwan next time, I should buy it for souvenir.
