To Hanoi

I woke up at 8am.
There was no one at house, so I talked with the other CSer Belinda from Zimbabwe.
Other people came back to house about 9am, host Tuan also came back to his house.
Tuan is disablity people, so he ride wheelchair.
He took us to coffee shop.

Hot Viet Nam coffee.
Sooooo strong!!
Why Viet Nam coffee is so strong??

We went back house and Nyan and Tao, volunteer people for Tuan came back to house then.

They bought many foods for Luna New Year from tomorrow.

Well, I came this house by Couch Surfing you know, but there is a rule that I have to introduce my town for 1 hour.
Tuan opened his house for couch surfer for contact with social people.
So he’d like to know about other country too, and many student come his house for learning English and other culture.

So I introduce my home town Fukui and Japan.

5 people listened my story today.
I was first Japanese person who came here, they were very curious about me.
Anyway, it’s first experience I did such things, good experience like a teacher.

Then the time was already past 11am, but I will fly to Hanoi at 3:40pm, so I don’t have so much time to go to sightseeing.
But I wanted to go Marble mountain, so I asked Belinda join with me.

I carried my backpack and said good bye to Tuan and the other people.

We went to bus stop and waited bus,,, but bus didn’t come!!
We waited about 30 minutes….
But Belinda talked with taxi, then we took taxi to Marble mountain for 50000D(about 2.50USD)It was about 4km, we got there in 5 minutes.

Let’s go to the mountain with back pack and flip flap!

It’s a little bit hard though…

It was beautiful temples and caves!!
It’s worth to see!

Well, we wanted to take taxi again but there was no taxi on the street.
Because of Luna New Year?? Maybe.
We walked about 30 minutes, then found taxi!!

121000D(about 6USD) to near airport.

We wanted to eat something before the airport.
But many shop closed as Luna New Year…

Anyway, we found a restaurant.

Something noodle 40000D(about USD)

I ate this quickly, then said good bye to Belinda and run to the airport.

15:40 to Hanoi but late to 16:00.
Then I got to Hanoi in 1 hour, 17:00~.

I took on the bus to city center for 2USD(40000D).
A old woman talked to me when I get on the bus.
But bus didn’t drive…!! She said the bus need more passanger…

We waited about 20 minutes, but bus didn’t drive…

So the woman suggested share taxi with me and the other tourist.

We took taxi for 330000D, so 110000D(about 5.50USD) each.
The taxi dropped me at the host’s house, the old woman was very kind for me!!
Thank you so much!!

Then I got to Hien, couch host’s house at 7pm.
