Shoulder Bag for Naorin

Naorin is my friend near my house.
She found my book on the shop 4 years ago actually.
At that time, she made boy friend from New Zealand, she tried to find something about New Zealand, then found my book.
She bought and read my book and found I came from Fukui, so she sent me e-mail.
When I read it, I found she is living near my house, just 20 min in walking distance, so I asked her for having tea together.

Since then, we are good friend 🙂

After that, she married with boy friend from New Zealand, but I was in Thailand at that time. She even paid flight ticket to Japan for me, thus I could join her wedding party!

She is very good friend for me now, but she will move to New Zealand soon!!!

Oh~!! I will miss her~!!

Well, let me see, I decided to make something for her!
Ok, I make pair shoulder bag with her!

This is the fabric.

Prepared pair fabric for us.

Inside bag’s color is light pink.

What size I make?
Oh, I wanna put iPad in it.

I put iPad and drew line by pen on the fabric directly.

Pinned 4 pair of fabric(means 8 fabrics) by needle.

Cut.

Cut hard fabric for shoulder belt and bottom part.

Before sewing.
Left one is inside’s, right one is outside’s.

Put pocket first.
Sew~.

Pocket is done 😀
I put iPod touch in it.

Then I sewed side and bottom edge of bags.

Sewed hard fabric with shoulder belt part and the bottom part.

Attaching hard fabric with outside’s parts is done.

put inside’s bag to outside’s bag.

Sewed it but left 10cm for hole to inside out.

Sewed shoulder belt part, but left 5cm from edge.

Did inside out from the 10cm hole.
Then put inside bag part to outside bag part.

At last, sewed 5cm shoulder belt part that left it before.

Put pin on it for fix.

Done~!!!

I already like it before present it to Naorin! 😀

Then I gave it to Naorin next day.

After 10days, she said, “It’s very useful and practical! I can put many stuff!”
