My birthday was coming at 28th April.


I bought 3 pieces of cakes, red and white wine from Chile and sangria from Spain~*


I bought the camera, Nikon 1 J2 double zoom kit for my birthday present!
I love the color~! So cool!!

This is the first time I bought degital single-lens reflex.
Let’s try it!!

I got a new toy for me~***

Amber, Taiwanese who took care of me in Taiwan for the last day, came to Japan for travel for 7days with her room mates Spring and Kitty.

I loved to show them around Kyoto

伏見稲荷

I love here, it’s very interesting even come here many times*


They liked Matcha flavor, so we ate jelly and soft cream at 中村藤吉京都駅店.


We ate chicken and egg rice at 鳥岩楼 from their guide book.
There were many Taiwanese too.
It was good but the taste was salty a little bit.

They liked buying many charms every time when we visited temple or shrine.
I surprised it.
They liked Japanese charm as there are many kind of charms and designs.
Taiwanese people is religious people.


I tooke them Mamezen for soy milk noodle.
Taiwanese people love soy milk, so they liked it too.

They came to Japan for Nara too.
I went there with them by train.

Spring searched good restaurant by internet already, so we went there.

This is the one, steamed rice bowl with miso soup and pickles for 1207yen.
It was good.


We walked through Nara park with many deers.


There were deer sign as there were many wild deer!

We went back to Kyoto and ate steamed pork bun, my favorite.


We went to lighted up Nijo castle at night.


We could listen traditional Japanese harp music live.


I went back to my friend Nakano-san’s house and drunk these international alcohol, Ballys from Ireland, Limoncello from Italy and Yuzu-sake from Japan that I bought it in Nijo castle.
The best one was Japanese one! So yummy!


We went to local market in Toji in every month.


I took them to Nishiki food market street.


At Gion,


We met Maiko(You may call them Geisha though, Maiko is correct actually.) on the street! How lucky!


We walked through Ponto-cho.


Then ate dinner at Watami, Japanese style izakaya restaurant.
Amber, Spring and Kitty went to Osaka next.
I stayed Kyoto 1 more day.


I ate Kinako ice cream at 祇園きなな.
Yummy!


When I went to Kenninji, there were many classic car for TV event.


I ate my favorite noodle at 天下一品 for the last dinner in Kyoto.
Then went back to Fukui.

I enjoyed Kyoto and Nara with them~*

We are using stove on kitchen more than 25 years, it’s already old, the stove doesn’t make fire by itself these years when we turn it on, so we decided changing it to new one.

I called to gas company in our city, then the gas person came to our house to change to new one.


This is the old stove.
It’s already more than 25 years we use but still looks good, right?
I wished it works…


He took the old stove table out.
Inside is dirty!


He took the stove unit out.


Nothing in the kitchen.


He wiped the dirty out by cleanser, then took the rusty out by paddle.


Next he cut the kitchen!!
Very loud, and shaking!!


He cut 5cm depth.
Actually, I thought I could change the stove unit by myself, but I can’t when I was seeing his work..


He put new stove unit in!
Wow, it’s perfect size!!


He fix the new stove table to the kitchen.


He put masking tape on to side for caulking.


Whoa~, what good job!


Well done~!!!

The price was 50,000yen(about 500USD) altogether!

It’s cheaper than I expected!

Now we can use new stove, Yatta-!!!

I went to Nagana Garden at last Sunday with mom~*

Actually, mom watched about it on TV at December, then she said wanna visit there all the time.
I said “Ok, but when Spring came…”.
Now I came back from Taiwan and it’s time to go finally.

So we went to Nabana Garden by car~!
It took 3 hours drove through highway, we got there past 2pm.

The entrance fee was 2000yen(about 21USD) including 1000yen cash voucher, not bad.


We took a rest at foot bath first~.
But it was a little bit hot!!
I didn’t soak feet so much, but I stood for a while, then I soaked 15 min.

When I took my feet out, I saw the skin turned red…

We walked to Plum tree garden.


Plum blossoms already gone, looks simple but cool?

Whoa~, the cherry blossoms are beautiful~*


It was good we came here in this season*


Ah! What’s that!! Mt. Fuji!?!?

The Mt. Fuji is lookout, so it move to sky.
When we got lost on the way here, we found the Mt. Fuji was on the sky, so we could find Nabana garden(LOL).

But when I came here long years ago, I didn’t see it.

We enter Begonia garden next.
The entrance fee was 1000yen, so we used cash voucher.
Someone said it’s worth to see on internet.


Wonderful~!!! Super beautiful~!!!

We left the garden, then headed to flower park.

Well, actually the Nabana garden is not so big.
We had to wait until dark for night illuminations, we ate small meals.

Then the illuminations started at 6:20pm~.
Many people came to see it, we tried not get lost, we started walking on same route as daytime.


Oh~! It was nothing at daytime, but it’s good now!!


The plum tree is fantastic now!!

The theme is “Great nature”.


It’s like this when we saw that from far place.

We went back home drove through highway on 3 hours again, then got to home at 11pm…

I’m checking free apps every day after I got new iPod touch

Well, I downloaded and tried “女神カメラ(Goddess Camera)” as it was free for limited time.

So I took my own picture by the camera, then started it.
It put life energy to my face by some effect.

I didn’t expect at all but I said “What is this!? It’s awesome!!!”.

It made my face more white and beautiful, eyes has sparkles.

It was so fun, so I tried several times, then I could make something unhuman picture.
I’d like to introduced it here.

At first, this is the completely original photo that just I took by myself.
No effect at all.


Hey, it’s me, but I surprised by myself.
Who is it? It seems unfeeling human.
Where is normal self!?

Now, let’s put life energy to the pictue!

I used other effect and made my eyes blue with blue flame
Hahaha, I feel like I came from two dimensions world(LOL).

I went to Osaka and Kyoto*

At first I visited to Nakano-san’s house in Kyoto.
He is my friend since Thailand.
When I come to Kyoto, I visit him every time actually.


Nakano’s noodle, thank you!!

I asked him to make signboard for me as he used to be signboard maker!


He made signboard for me~!!
(About making signboard, I wrote it at Thai massage blog.)

I and Nakano-san went to “Gakushinsha”, the academic space for communication.


There was Oceania party and eat Nabe with watching Australian movie!


After the party, it was like a student’s dorm(LOL).

I stayed the Gakushinsha for a night.
Next morning, Genki-san from Gakusinsha took me to Soy-milk noodle restaurant for lunch.
The restaurant was Mame-zen.

This is fantastic!!
Very healthy and yummy~!!
I ate all even soup!!

Genki-san showed around Kyoto for me, then went to dinner.


At Western-style restaurant at Demachi-yanagi.
It was just 650yen(About 7USD) but main dish with salada-bar, unlimited rice and curry!
So reasonable!!!

I moved to Osaka to stay my best friend Chee’s place.


We went to Capricciosa, a Italian restaurant.
But it was too much for us…
Moreover, we ordered squid ink pasta though, it made our teeth black, we couldn’t open our mouth so much anymore…(LOL)
You’d better not to eat squid ink pasta when you do dating..!


I cooked curry and rice,


we ate dim sum from 551, a famous shop in Osaka, and rolled sushi for special day.


I bought strawberry mousse from Morozoff,


we ate fruits cake at Namba***


I ate hamburger for lunch with N-san who got my Thai massage at Shin-Osaka.

I met K-san at Nishi-Umeda.
K-san sent me message first when he found my website.
He thought I’m interesting girl and wanted to meet me for curiosity.
So it was first time to meet him though, he took me very good restaurant at Hilton!


The dinner price was 7000yen(About 80USD) each person!
Phew~, this was like a Las Vegas!!
Thank you so much!!!


After the dinner, K-san took me to his regular drink-bar at Kita-shinchi.
Kita-shinchi is expensive place to drink actually!
It was first time I came there!!

He said sing something, then I sang Jailhouse rock by Presley.
I was good singer, so other guests wanted handshake with me(LOL).

Anyway, thank K-san to take me interesting place!!

Well, I went back to Kyoto to visit Mame-zen again.
I did Thai massage for the owner and he let me stay his place as he was couch host!!


The owner played Shaku-hachi, a Japanese old instrument!
I and other 2 Australian musician enjoyed the Shaku-hachi concert*

I had next reservation for Thai massage in Fukui, but she canceled it, then I didn’t need to go back Fukui.


I joined Crab-pot party at Mame-zen*
3 French girls came to the party too.
The Crab was soooo yummy!


I visited Nakano-san’s house again.
We made Tako-yaki and drunk together*


He had chocolate from Belgium from couch surfer.
Yummy!


It’s come from Costa Rica from other couch surfer too.
This one was the best chocolate I have ever eaten!!
Super yummy!!
I guess it’s the best chocolate in the world!!
If I go to Costa Rica, I will buy it for sure!!!!


Ramen noodle at Shimpuku-saikan.
Looks salty but not so salty.
The meat was good.


When I went back Fukui, my home, my Korean friend Ik-sou sent me gift!!
It’s charcoal face-back!!

When I went to kitchen, I found something.

Oh~, good banana~.
I eat it.

I had a dream.
I had a dream that I wanted to do long time…

When I traveled around South East Asia, I saw some kids who put banana on their head.

I thought it was very funny!
Yeah, I wanna put banana on my head too~….

Actually, I already took a piece of banana but I guess I still can do it!!

Yes, I do!!

I prepared tripod stand for taking picture for my first banana experience.
You know, I have an experience of professional photographer.
So I will take good photos of me.

I wore white jacket as reflection board, so let’s take picture!!

I went to Tokyo again
Where I went…?

I met Ko-chan after a half years at Akihabara, he took me artist street, then Ameyoko shopping street.

He love traveling and cooking, he wanted to go somewhere interesting…!

He found the place…!! Smells like China town!?!?


Wow!! There are Isramic ladies in Tokyo!?


Wow!! There are many kind of seasonings in Tokyo!?

I couldn’t find coconut oil anywhere, but I found it here!!

Ko-chan impressed here as he found many spices!!

We didn’t know such a place in Tokyo!!


There are live Shang hai crab in Tokyo!?
Where are we~!!(LOL)


There are eel from Australia in Tokyo!?
Also soft-shell turtle!?

There are many big block meat that we don’t find normal supermarket.

We never imagine there is such a secret China town in Ameyoko!!
If someone wanna buy Asian foos, come here.

Well, I stayed Naomi’s place in Tokyo as usuall.
She said she go museum on holiday, so I requested we go to Japanese art museum.


We came Edo Tokyo Museum then

Wow!! Interesting!!

There were some spots I could take picture here!

The museum was fun!!

Next, I met Masaki who are traveling around the world more than 180 countries.
He came back Japan for several days, so I wanted to meet him.


We drunk and had chat for 4 hours.


He gave me this for souvenir from New Zealand.

Next, I met Fumin who met me in Laos 3 years ago!
She took me to French restaurant for lunch*

I love meet the people who met me somewhere in the world!!


Last dinner at Naomi’s house was pork pot*
I love pork~~, so yummy~!!

My Tokyo staying finished quickly, I went back to Fukui by night bus.
There were snowing and much colder than Tokyo…

But Noarin, my good friend and married with New Zealand man, came back Fukui from New Zealand at that time, so I met Naorin*


She took me restaurant for lunch~!!!
Thank you!!!

Then we went to Naorin’s house,


she served Mizu-yokan that local winter sweets in Fukui***
And hot calpis I’m happy~***

Naorin took me my home by car.
When I came back home, I found a box under the Xmas tree!!

I opened it!!
