Well, I had been to 19 places and took plane, so the total price is not bad, isn’t it!?
(I can’t believe that I paid about 1750$ just for 3 nights 5 days tour to Cairns 7 years ago…)

Whoa~! Australia was so huge!!
Before I go there, I was scared going there as everything are expensive.
But I could save many money by many peoples kindness and courtesy!!

Well, I’m lucky as you know, Shimizu-san go to Fukui-city for his business today, so he take me to my home by car
He has still time until noon, so we go to sight place on the way

Takefu Knife Village

Shimizu-san wanted to buy cool knife.
And my friend is working here too

There are many kitchen knife in the shop.
But I found cool knifes on the show case!!

Shimizu-san bought cool knife there, then we head to next place to lunch.


Echizen Soba Village


We can see Soba factory,


There is Making Soba course too.
Many people there!


Shimizu-san ordered this Echizen-Oroshi Soba.


I ordered this week’s special lunch for 850yen.
Just 850yen in this volume~!!! XD
It’s about 10 USD, 9 Euro!!
So cheap and yummy~!!!

At last the stuff served us hot Soba-water, so I was full***

We enjoyed Tekefu, my city, then I got to my home finally after 1 and a half month.

Whoa~, this travel was shorter than usual…
But I got many tips by this travel, I really love traveling XD

I wrote blog with seeing such a relax scenery.

Then Shimizu-san took me to Obama-city by car,


we take lunch here.

After lunch, he took me to lookout though,


there was Ojizo-san here and we can see a cape behind that,,,


that was the place the Japanese man was kidnapped by North Korea 25 years ago!!
So scary!!(>_<)

I felt sad with seeing the beautiful ocean.

I found a small pass and went through there.


there was the rope to go down to cliff.
When I went down,


there was a dead tree…
Shimizu-san said this is the place for suicide…scary!(>_<)
But the place was not enough high, so I wondered how the people die from here..


Then we went to the Ku-in temple that has “Happyaku Bikuni”‘s cave.


There is the cave on the left side.
There is a legend “Happyaku Bikuni”.
She ate mermaid’s meat and she lived 800 years old, then she came the cave to live her life at last.


Looks dark…
I went to inside..


There was stone written “Happyaku Bikuni”.
Feel scary,,, but I pray as she give me spiritual luck as the notice board said.

I wonder is today horror tour in Obama…
(I don’t like horror very much…)

We took car then,


Shimizu-san came to bakery to buy some bread.
While he was buying,


I went to “Hachiman shrine”.


Coo!!
I like Shinto as I’m Japanese!! XD


Next we went to “Mermaid terrace”, this place was on the famous TV drama few years ago.


Next we went to Wakasa-Obama cultural food center.


Wakasa-Obama(Wakasa is the old name of this area) was the one of the place that they gave food for emperor long years ago.
So it means Wakasa-Obama has delicious food!

There were also panel for good history, so interesting for me

I know the place as I watched it on TV
Next I moved to Wakasa fisherman’s wharf.


I bought the ticket to Sotomo-Meguri for 2000yen(About 22USD).
It’s a cruse ticket for 50min.


I moved to the boat terminal,


then took on the boat!


I sat down on the best seat!!


I saw the land from the boat.
It’s sunny today!

I heard an explain announce from the boat.


“Hells gate”

As no one know how deep the hole is.


“Net rocks”

The many scratch looks like net.


Oh! There is a man on such a place!!
It seems he is doing fishing, but I wonder how he came there!


“Couple turtle rocks”

There are big turtle and small turtle.
But it made naturally.


“White strings falls”

The water amount doesn’t change whole year, and it used to make Wasabi on the top.


At last the boat is coming to main point.


“Big gate and small gate”

Can’t see the small gate on the picture though, the small gate’s size is 3 times bigger than adult hight.


Then the boat is going back to the port, and go through beside of the land.


Ah!! That’s the Nuclear power plant in Ohi-cho!!

It’s stopping now, but the goverment try to restart it!!!
I strongly against that!!

The “Sotomo-meguri” finished in 50 min.


Next we went to “Road station Wakasa-Obama”.

I wanted to eat the “Yokan soft cream” but it was not on season.


So I ordered “Wakasa-Fig soft cream” for 300yen.(About 3.50USD)
So-so.

By the way, there is famous man in this station.


President Obama here!!!(LOL)

At last, we went to Forest Water PR center.
There were something for local festival about water.

Whoa~, I enjoyed Obama-city
When we went back to home,


Shimizu-san gave me old Kimono fabric!!


I chose something good one, I got these! I will make something by these!

I did Thai massage to Mrs. Shimizu-san.
Then went to bed.

After breakfast, I sat down in gront of the nice Japanese garden to write yesterday’s blog.

By the way, there are many interesting stuff in Shimizu-san’s house, it’s like a museum.
I saw many amazing antique stuff here.

Well, Shimizu-san’s wife came back to home and she took me to famous cherry tree.


Wow, what a big tree!
In spring, it will be great cherry tree!!


Next to the tree, there was a temple and I walked on the steps, the scenery was like a movie, I felt I did time slip.

I took herb on the road to home.


I put it the herb on the table.
Whoa~, this is the Japan!


Somen noodle for lunch, thank you very much!!
After lunch, they took me to sight-seeing in Obama-city by car*


Chopstick factory.
When we arrived at here, the tourist bus started to gone,


so every staff there came out to say good-bye to the customer(LOL)


There was big chopsticks.

A staff gave a black simple chopsticks for free, then,


we came into this room.


we could make our own original chopsticks~!

There are many wonderful chopsticks in souvenir shop.
I found 20,000 yen’s chopsticks!! (about $250USD)


These are trash from the chopstick factory, it’s free to take it back.
So I took some for something

Next, we went to Koi(Carp) firm.


This is the Koi firm.


There are many Koi in the water!!
The biggest one is 87cm!!
Awesome!!


There are oyster’s shell to change the water ph.
This is the idea to making good Koi.


Next we went to Japanese jerry-sweets shop, Iseya.

When we went inside,


there are many jerry-sweets in the water!!
They take natural fresh water from underground to cool the sweets.

When we ordered the sweets, a staff took some sweets by her hand to cup.


110 yen(About 1.30USD) for a each.

Looks so cool!!
And yummy~!!!

Next we went to fish market.


Almost shop closed as it’s late already…
but we went to some shop that still opened.


Wooow!
Very cheap~!!
When I saw the price, I thought it for a fish.
But the price was for a box!!
Big 3 Tai-fishes are just for 1100yen(about 13USD) altogether!?!?

It’s also discounted 200yen down as the shop closed soon.
Awesome..!!


We went back to home onece and drank fresh mint tea from their garden Whoa~, it’s reminds me when I was in Morocco.

After tea break, we went to “Wakasa princess shrine”.


I heard there is 1000 years old cedar tree.


we walked through Torii,

Next we headed to “Prince shrine”.

These place are one of the power spot.
I feel good atmosphere certainly.
I’m lucky~

Then we went back to home for dinner~*

I was full, then went to bed~.

Chee left for her work, then I took a rest until noon, then I left her house after noon.
I took subway to Osaka train station.


From Osaka station, I took rapid train to Tsuruga.


I enjoyed the scenery.
I like seeing rice fields

I got to Tsuruga, then changed to Obama-line.

In an hour from Tsuruga, I got to Obama-shi where the place had being famous for President Obama.
Couch host, Shimizu-san came to the station to pick me up by car.
I wanted to meet him once as we are on a couch surfing in same Fukui prefecture

He took me to cafe to eat light sweets Thank you so much!!

When I got to his house,,,,
That is the very old style traditional Japanese rural house!!!
I feel nostalgic so much!!!
And very cooooool!!!

There are traditional Japanese garden and many carps in the pond.
When I went to my room, I could see beautiful Japanese river.
What a great!!!

I also found the medal from Japanese emperor in my room!
Awesome!!

It’s my one of the favorite Japanese cuisine for me, yatta-!!! XD
I enjoyed the dinner with Shimizu-san and his wife with good conversation
Then I slept in traditional Japanese room.
